Introduction
Fashion Designing is a creative expression that has a high profile in today�s world. It is fast becoming an appealing and lucrative profession and the rise in fashion consciousness among people has led the fashion industry to grow spectacularly all over the world. This in turn has led to greater demands for competent fashion designers.

Here at Namuna College of Fashion Technology (NCFT), we not only strive to provide quality fashion education to our students but also undertake efforts to ensure their overall personal development through a wide variety of extra curricular activities.

NCFT aspires to provide the solid platform to students, where they can polish their skills and knowledge and move on to achieve success in life. And judging by the demand and success of our graduates it seems we are continuing in the right direction.

The fashion industry sector of Nepal has been growing over the years. Therefore, the demand for highly skilled and qualified manpower in this sector is rapidly on the rise.

Even though BFD is unlike other traditional Bachelor degrees, this course is highly fertile and rewarding in the real job market. Completion of the BFD course equips our students to be career professionals and opens up a world of unlimited opportunities in the field of fashion for them. Some of the numerous careers that our graduates can readily brace for after completion of the course are:

Fashion Designer, Costume Designer, Fashion Forecaster, Fashion Stylist, Design Manager, Accessories Designer, Fashion Trend Maker, Embroidery Designer, Merchandiser, Graphic Designer, Choreographer, Fashion Entrepreneur, Fashion Industrialist, Boutique Proprietor, Freelancer in the international fashion market etc.

NCFT has been acting as a meeting platform for our students and their prospective employers. A sizeable number of our graduates are successfully working in major fashion and garment houses and of Nepal like Nepal Pashmina, Adam and Eve Boutique, Shraman Apparels, Tara Oriental among others. On the other hand ma ny of our stude nts have become set up their own businesses and have become fashion entrepreneurs after graduation. Similarly, another portion of our students are abroad in countries like the UK, the USA and Australia for their further studies.
